PERSEVERANCE AND EFFORT

THOSE are two of the greatest words in the English language and its what's helping me succeed in this math course,  I took a peek at some of the younger students scores on the last test and i did a lot better than most, i made a 95 on the last test and i saw a lot of C's and D's and a couple of F's  and that's just amazing considering when i started i was having trouble adding and subtracting. but hard work and persistence help me overcome my disabilities I'm still not out of the woods yet but i have a much better understanding of what I'm suppose to be doing.  time and effort is what it takes and you can do anything.  oh yeah the calculator really helps, i mean really helps! why i didn't have one earlier is a great mystery that I'm trying to figure.  i feel so good about myself! I'm doing the things that i should have been doing 40 years ago, in a way I'm just growing up.  i didn't care about my education in high school, its a miracle that i have a diploma cause i was in a drug induced haze 95% of the time. in fact they didn't let me march i had to go back to summer school to get my diploma, i don't blame em, i shouldn't have graduated at all. all i cared about was marijuana, wine, JIMI HENDRIX and sex.  it feels good to have a clear head.
