BETRAYAL

MAN I trusted this guy, this retired attorney who was suppose to be helping me with my taxes because I hadn't done my taxes since 2005.  he's a graduate of DUKE law school and a former tax attorney who became a partner in a very large law firm. so I'm thinking I'm in great hands right? wrong!  i was wondering why my tax returns were taking so long to come back.  what alarmed me was the fact that one Sunday morning we were sitting around talking when he let his hair down and said to another guy at the table that he had been to prison.  WHAT! for 3 years!  something about a dispute over money with his sister-in-law, so I google him, uh-oh!  my spirit had been telling me that something was wrong but i ignored it thinking that everything was gonna turn out alright and surely a retired rich white attorney who was volunteering his time would do me no harm.  so I finally went by the federal building to the I.R.S. office and inquired about my taxes.and to my surprise the lady said "sir no one has filed your taxes"  WHAT!  no wonder i never heard anything so now I have to go back to the office Friday and they are gonna file em for me. but the biggest disappointment is what he's doing with my child support case which is the real reason that I'm in this situation now. we sit down and made out an income-verification letter to get the case modified and when we finished he was supposed to mail it off, he never did.  I offered to mail it myself but he insisted, I thought that was strange and I had a bad feeling but I ignored it. now I have to do this stuff all over again,  I'm suppose to meet with him today and i don't think I'll tell him what I know.
