WEEKEND IN ATLANTA part 2

I want to continue talking about my great weekend that i had last week,  on saturday i went to the MOREHOUSE-SPELLMAN homecoming and it was great.  I didn't realize that MOREHOUSE ,SPELLMAN and CLARK-ATLANTA were virtually all on the same grounds! i was walking on morehouse when someone tells me that now i'm on clark-atlanta's campus.  they had two games and two different stadiums all on the same grounds, at the morehouse homecoming game it was MOREHOUSE vs  ALBANY STATE i couldn't get into that game it was just to packed so i walked over to the CLARK-ATLANTA vs TUSKEGEE game and i was able to slide by the lax security and get a seat on the fifty yard line because there it was plenty of seats. by the way i'm reading the book now about tuskegee's founder BOOKER T. WASHINGTON  the book is called 'up from history' and its a great read so far. after the game at clark-atlanta i walked back over to morehouse stadium and watched the battle of the bands after the game,  you talk about a great moment that i will never forget this was it man!  wow! I stood at the fifty yard line and took it all in, one band would play a song and then the other band would try to top it, not marching just standing and playing. being at a black college game you're able to get up close and personal like i was able to just walk up and talk to the albany state strong-safety who had a full body cramp and was recieving medical attention after the game, as i was leaving the field i walked past a 3or 4 year old kid with some ice in his hands and i said hi and he started to say something and i couldn't understand so i bent down to hear him and he goes "i can't find my mommy'  WOW!  i ask him where did she go! and he pointed to the stands, so i took his little hands and started walking back towards the middle of the field hoping maybe some one would see us but it didn't happen so i walked him to campus police and told him what happend and left. it a shame that a mother can lose a 3 year old but i know how quick kids can be. this weekend MOREHOUSE vs CLARK-ATLANTA!!!  i'll be there!!
