DRIVEN WEST

DRIVEN WEST is the name of the book I'm reading now, and man is it good! I'm learning so much about American history.  I'm learning how the Indians were torn and ripped from their land and forced west, it was horrible and it was all started by ANDREW JACKSON who got rich off of the land that he stole from the Indians.  also i didn't know that the Indians owned so many slaves,   but i believe they were treated much better than their white owners. I'm really enjoying this book.  well i made an A on my last test so now i have an A average so far in the class,  but now i have to prepare for the compass test, its the test that i have to pass in order to get into my program and i need lots of study and practice especially with fractions i don't have the slightest idea how to add and subtract fractions.  I'm waiting on some money but its gonna take 10 business days from yesterday for me to get it, that's a long time man, i have 6 cents in my pocket. also for the last 2 months I've had a locker at the gateway but now my time is up so I'm gonna have to give up all the clothes that I've accumulated in the last 2 months and move personal papers and a few belongings into the school locker, that's gonna really cramp my style and its gonna really limit my choice of clothing.  oh well.  but I'm grateful i thank GOD that I'm healthy, sober, and free!  I got a shot!
