THE KING MEMORIAL

THE day has started off well I found 2 dollars this morning as I was walking from the shelter to the marta station, I got a good nights sleep last night and I feel much better this morning. sunday afternoon I decided to swing by the king memorial before I attended an N.A. meeting I sit down and looked around and was shocked by how sorry the memorial was for one of the greatest black american to ever live! the man we have a national holiday for, a man who gave his life for civil rights. thousands of people visit this site every year and I know they feel just like I do especially people of other races, 'IS THIS THE WAY THEY HONOR THEIR KING' I tell you the place needs about 5 million dollars worth of restoration even the restroom needs attention! ITS A SHAME! as much money as black people have and spend. I read somewhere that if black people were a NATION we would rank right behind australia in WEALTH! AROUND 600 BILLION DOLLARS! and thats generated yearly! the memorial is not befitting a king, not our king! if black ball players would donate the money that they spend just on EARRINGS! the memorial would look like a kings memorial! I read where TERRILL OWENS had some 100,000 dollar earrings on the sidelines also in new orleans a RAPPER lost 3 600,000 dollar cars in the hurricane! thats 600,000 a piece!! don't get me wrong I don't think that entertainers should be the only one's footing the bill they're not the only black people that have money as a matter of fact they're the minority, its just an example of what could be done. when I hit the lottery i'm gonna donate a million dollars ! so the place can look like the resting place for a KING and his QUEEN!
